Dog's Body is a vital role within our Association because without volunteers willing to play the part of the missing person and ‘hide’ in the mountains, boulder field, ditch or even up a tree, it would be impossible to train a search dog. In order to assist in this role you must  : 

 

1. Like Dogs

 

2. Have a good level of fitness and good health with some experience of hill or mountain walking as this role requires an individual to spend numerous hours alone on the hill in all conditions on training days

3. Have working knowledge of radio communications. 

​

4. Have personal wet weather clothing and suitable walking boots.
